Let’s Catch Up!

We have been super busy at 5000 helping clients feel and look their best! Here is a little bit of what has been going on!

Macy competed in the Miss Gastonia Outstanding Teen Pageant.

Macy decided to wear a rich bright color, so we wanted to enhance her make up to make her outfit pop, but still look age appropriate. I went with light earth tone colors and added a bright glossy lip to pull it all together!

Jordan wore a Fuchsia dress with ruching to the side from Cache’.  I wanted to give her a sophisticated look that was still fun and trendy! I kept it simple and classy with a heavy earth tone brown and a light tan highlighting color. We went with a matching Fuchsia lightly gloss lip to pull it all together!

For evening gown, I wanted to give Jordan a fresh clean look with a little bit of sexy on top!  She is wearing a stunning purple Tony Bowls designer gown that fits her perfectly. The fit of a dress is really important to make your silhouette look the best from any angle. Droopy beading work or gapping backs are distracting and draw attention in the wrong way. To pull her look all together we went with a smokey eye with a heavy liner. On blondes, this look can be rocking or a total fail. With stage lighting you don’t want to look like a raccoon in headlights, so instead of going with the heavy grey’s and black on a typical smokey eyes, I stuck with some deep brown earth tones. This keeps her looking fresh and fierce on stage!  I kept her hair simple with loose curls and volume with hot rollers!

This is my friend and favorite Panthers Top Cat, Aryn! She is a former Miss Mecklenburg and my pick for the best dress visiting former of the night! Fabulous styling, head to toe!
